"The new normal" is part of an ongoing project that started with the pandemic .

While in lockdown , we went on long walks with my family along the River Wandle. I would take along paper ,to which I applied a cyanotype paint. Firstly, we took impressions of the variety of plants we found along. Soon these got combined with the work of William Morris and drawings.

I had been reflecting on our relationship with nature ,our productive methods, how we connect with each other and the world, from family bonding and belonging to the wider world of news and travelling.

Soon I started introducing buildings and desolate landscapes,which were once buzzing with life.
